In 1957, Dr. Keith W. Young opened Young Dental Care with a clear and heartfelt mission: to deliver exceptional, family-friendly dental care right here in downtown Aurora, Illinois. At a time when dentistry was still evolving as a profession, Dr. Young brought not just clinical expertise — he brought warmth, integrity, and a deep connection to the community he served.
His passion for dentistry took him beyond his own practice — teaching future dentists at Loyola Dental School and at his alma mater, Northwestern University. In the 1960s, as the practice grew, Dr. Young moved the office to its current location on Prairie Street, where it would continue to serve local families for generations.
A Family Legacy of Care
Dr. Young and his wife were pillars of the Aurora community — raising four children and building lasting relationships with patients who became friends. In 1986, as he began preparing for retirement, Dr. Young passed the practice to his daughter, yet he continued treating patients until his passing in 2004.
Under his daughter’s care, Young Dental Care celebrated 60 years of service in 2017 — a remarkable milestone reflecting decades of trusted care, innovation, and community connection.
Continuing the Legacy of Excellence
In 2021, Dr. Bindi Patel became the new owner of Young Dental Care, carrying forward the practice’s foundational values — respect, compassion, and exceptional dentistry. Today, Dr. Patel and the Young Dental Care team build on the legacy Dr. Young established by combining time-honored patient relationships with modern dental technology and ongoing education.
