At Young Dental Care, we want to change the way you feel about going to the dentist. I grew up with dentistry. My father is a dentist, as well as my uncle and many of my cousins. I come from a long lineage of people who are passionate about teeth and understand the importance they play in our overall health.
From a young age, I have been involved in all aspects of dentistry. As a high school student, I worked at my father’s dental practice as an assistant. In college, I shadowed my father in the office and realized that the dental profession combined my love of art and science. I realized that I could utilize my creative and compassionate strengths, as well as my studies in biology, to excel in this field.
After graduating with honors from the University Of Illinois Chicago School Of Dentistry, I used the knowledge I learned from my father and jumped right into further training in more unique areas of Dentistry. I became trained in treating cosmetic dentistry, neuromuscular dentistry, temporomandibular joint disorders, obstructive sleep apnea, and proper airway and breathing development, as well as facial growth and development in children. I learned so much more beyond the general dental treatments I had learned in school and realized how proper structure and function of the teeth, airway and jaw joints align with not only whole-body health but also beauty.
Dr. Beth Zaun, DMD
Dr. Beth Zaun received her Doctor Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University of Iowa College of Dentistry in Iowa City, IA. Prior to dental school, she attended the University of Iowa for her undergraduate education as well.
Dr. Zaun has 15 years of experience in both general and pediatric dentistry. Additionally, she has completed numerous advanced training courses in endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, and Orthodontics. Dr. Zaun is a certificated provider of Six Month Smiles and Invisalign.
Dr. Zaun looks forward to providing dental care for you and your family. She believes strongly in starting a comfortable and caring relationship with your children to provide them with proper habits to keep their teeth healthy for life. She makes it a priority to get to know the patients individually to provide for their oral health needs. You can trust that Dr. Zaun cares as much about your oral health and comfort as you do.
When Dr. Zaun is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a mom of two, handsome little boys. Dr. Zaun is also passionate about following Iowa Hawkeye football and Chicago Cubs baseball.

Dr. Chris Nguyen, an extraordinarily multi-talented individual, boasts an impressive array of skills and achievements in various fields. Born and raised in Fairfax, VA, he has established himself as a pianist, molecular biologist, engineer, and dentist.
Dr. Nguyen's educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nanomedicine Engineering from the University of Virginia. His passion for scientific exploration led him to pursue a Master of Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University, where he focused on researching potential treatments for Alzheimer's disease. This research underscores his commitment to advancing medical knowledge and finding solutions to pressing health challenges. He further enhanced his expertise by earning a degree in dental surgery from Midwestern University.
