Meet Our Team

Nina has been a part of the team here at Young Dental Care since October 1997 and contributes to the success of our practice by treating patients as family and communicating with them in a friendly manner. She truly loves our patients and finds it a gift to get to know many patients and their families for many years. We often see third and fourth generations of patients who come to us for their dental care, and Nina enjoys showing photos to the younger generation of their parents taken at their first dental visit to our office.

Nina is married to her husband, Rick, of over 20 years, and together, they have two children, Jessica and Jacob. When she is not office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading books and staying fit.

Gloria became a member of our dental team in January 2021. She always greets patients with a smile. She enjoys meeting new patients and gets excited whenever she finds out she knows some patients outside the office. She is a proud mother of twin boys and loves reading, doing Zumba and drumming in her free time.

We are so excited to welcome Kathryn to our Young Dental Care family; she is a great addition to our team!

Kathryn joined Young Dental Care in January 2023. From a young age, she was destined to help others and recognized that oral hygiene was pertinent to the overall health of any person. Thus, this career provided her with an opportunity for both. She graduated from Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois, obtaining a degree in dental hygiene. During the past few years, Kathryn practiced dental hygiene in Illinois and Oklahoma while continuing her education. By keeping current with the latest techniques in pain-free dentistry, local anesthesia and laser therapy, Kathryn knows she can provide her patients with the most comfortable experience and the best dental hygiene care possible. Recently, Kathryn completed her Bachelor’s degree with honors in health communications advancing her ability to advocate for patients.

When not working, you can find Kathryn hiking with her husband, Drake, and their two schnauzers or helping him in the comic book industry. She still has energy and time to devote to other interests, including gardening, making crafts, thrift store shopping, spending time with family and participating in community activities while remaining strong in her faith.

Sherry graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and from University of Illinois at Chicago/Kennedy King College in 2007 witth a degree in dental hygiene. She has been practicing dental hygiene for 16 years now. Sherry is compassionate, which allows her to put her patients at ease and ensure them a positive dental experience. She is also very personable and considers her patients as family.

When she is not at work, Sherry is very busy with her three teenagers (Kian, 16; Kaden and Lila, 14) and their sports and social activities. Her hobbies are daily CrossFit workouts and trail runs. She has ran many ultra-marathons and is looking forward to many more.

Gracie has been a dental assistant since 2015. She loves helping people reach their best smile. When she is not working, she is crafting or spending time with family.

Jan joined Young Dental Care 20 years ago and contributes to the success of the practice with her gift of making genuine connections with our patients. She likes the fact that we are a smaller practice that has been in the neighborhood for many years.

She is married to one lucky husband, and together, they have two great kids, two handsome grandsons, a toothless grandcat, and a baby kitty (which she is always happy to show pictures of if you ask)! She is also an estate sale junkie and says to look out for her on an episode of Hoarders.

Pat joined our team in 2002. Pat works hard at making sure all of our insurance claims are processed and paid.

Beth joined our team in 2007. She keeps our office organized by scheduling appointments and loves taking care of our wonderful patients. She has two great kids and is a proud grandmother of two handsome grandsons.

Outside the office, you can find Beth going on walks, hiking and gardening.

Jay joined our team in 1995. He keeps our office running smooth by keeping our instruments clean and setting up patient rooms. He also enjoys greeting patients as an old friend.

When Jay is not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Deanna.
